APPEARANCE & ADAPTATION

The Indo pacific hump back dolphin is about 2-3.5m long, it's color is grey, white and pink, when they are babies, their colore is grey,  as it grow up, the color will turn into white and pink, so they are not aways pink.

 

The skin of Indo pacific hump back dolphin is very thick, the thick skin and blubber provides insulation, buoyancy and energy reserves, their skin protects them and provides them enough energy to survive in there environment. They also has forelimbs like human arms, forelimbs have evolved into flippers for steering and balance while the dorsal fi and talk fluke aid in stability and propulsion.
